Igniting our Natitude

Yesterday afternoon I attended my first Nationals baseball game of the season. Baseball is my favorite sport to watch (only in person…I don’t think I would enjoy watching it on TV). The weather was perfect and even though we sat pretty high up, the seats were great. The Nationals won the game. In fact, the other team scored zero runs. I couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable baseball game.

About a mile away from the stadium, my sister and friends were finishing up their 200 mile relay from Gettysburg to Washington DC. Unfortunately, the timing of the game and the conclusion of their relay didn’t quite pan out, so we couldn’t see them cross the finish line. However, my parents were there and took pictures. Congrats Team Tortoise on a strong finish!
